Welcome to Acceptance

Mission Statement:

✿Acceptance is a Christian-based newsletter, dedicated to providing GCHS students with easily accessible, appealing, and effective tips for maintaining mental well-being. ✿

As COVID restrictions ease, Gibson County students will attempt to return to life as normal. However, for some, normal life cannot be regained. Studies conducted by NCBI1 reveal that quarantine may have harmed the mental health of adolescents nationwide.

Gibson County students may be vulnerable to developing depression and anxiety as a result of prolonged isolation. Thus, Acceptance was established to provide mental health information to students who may be struggling. ♡

Acceptance is solely a newsletter. This is not a club. There is no involvement required of members; no meetings or discussions will ever take place.

Acceptance purposely lacks interaction between members for both privacy and safety reasons. If you need to talk to a professional, helplines are provided at the bottom of this webpage.

On the first and third Tuesday of every month, members will receive an Acceptance newsletter in their GCSSD Outlook inbox. The newsletter will include encouraging snippets of scripture, tips on mental health and self-care, and instructions for a simple and relaxing activity. ✿Click for a sample newsletter✿

To receive the Acceptance newsletter, please sign up below with your first name and GCSSD email address.

♡Feel free to opt-out of the mail list at any time. Just reply to any of Acceptance's emails with 'stop'.♡
